Truth Never Dies

I still remember the day she was born. She was an ordinary girl like anyother girl, we named her Alya.As Alya grew we realized that she was ordinary but different.Being different she was loved and hated by her own people.

She was an immense source of motivation for many and a point of envy to the one in command. They felt threatened by her presence and thought of destroying her. They called her a traitor and a liar. They even slit her wrist so that they could tell everyone that she never thought she would get caught and hence killed herself.

Before death she roamed the streets looking for help, but Alas she got none. There were all kinds of emotions amongst people surrounding. Some smiling sarcastically thinking that her end has come, some with sympathy and some with helplessness.

Suddenly a thunderbolt came from heaven and stuck Alya very hard. She looked up and smiled! It was a content smile. When she died her thumbs were up signing towards victory and index finger pointing towards her tormentors.

You can kill Alya but how can you kill something which exist but cannot perish.Truth remains, whether we want it or not.How many of us have tried to resist someone like Alya? or have tried to be one?

Would you be able to live or die as peacefully as Alya did?

Remember - Truth Never Dies

A Tribute to the one who is dead but still alive within.Hope to meet her soon again.....someday.

Happy Holi'Day

Come Holi and down the memory lane i get nostalgic thinking about my idea of playing holi as a kid.

Back then, we played holi as if the whole world was one big canvas and we had the liberty to create mess all around....whether it was my school bus or my building compound.

Over the years, my idea of playing with colours have changed. The childlike enthusiasm is still intact though.

World At Her Feet

Hundreds of years passed in proving that she is no less.
This fight for gender justice seems to have finally paid off, slowly and steadily.
